I Drive Driving School

We had a great experience with both people we came in contact with. Yesenia was very detailed with the information provided to us when asking about different programs for our 16 year old. We called multiple times prior to enrolling and received the same polite demeanor. Once the written was passed we met Paul who was the instructor all 3 sessions and was beyond patient. The feedback we'd get from our son was the same every time "Paul is so nice, I feel like my questions are dumb but he answers them like they're not". To top it off we live in Santa Paula but they made it work! The best part was our son passed his driving test on the 1st try! He said Paul prepped him turn by turn and only had 3 errors! Overall AMAZING experience, will definitely recommend to our fellow parents and will be using them again for our other children!

My child's instructor showed up 20 minutes late for his 2 hour appointment. I assumed he would adjust the length of the appointment so that my child would get the full amount of time scheduled. But nope, his 2 hour appointment lasted just about an hour and a half, the instructor did not give us an update on what was covered, he just dropped my child off and drove away. I don't feel that we got the lesson time we paid for. When I scheduled the appointment, I specifically asked that my son be taken out on the freeway and into heavy traffic. The lady who made the appointment assured me that they would communicate this with the driver. Paul - the driver - had no knowledge of this & told me we had to book a different type of appointment to cover the items I was requesting, and he would only be covering the items on the driving test. I called the Monday after this issue to discuss it with the company, I was assured by the receptionist that the owner would be getting back to me to make things right. But I never heard from her. I tried to give them the opportunity to handle it before leaving this review. So, they seem to have scheduling problems, communication problems and follow up problems. I will not likely call them again for my next child's driving needs.

They are hardly ever in office! My daughter has gone there 3 times in the past few weeks. She has called while standing outside the door that says they are open. She has called and asked for the days and hours that they are open. She has returned at those days and times. Still no one is there!

What an experience, they teach you to drive safely but they my instructor PAUL really taught me something inspirational, he told me right was right and left was left, "i didn't know that Paul" he also would not stop talking about tacos de lengua and cabeza, i hope Paul is still teaching everyone common sense, thank you for your service as prius owner, i don't like to be seen driving a prius, but if it withs PAUL i Don't mind.

The driving instructor was good, but I would be careful about booking with this school. The DMV cancelled my driving test and I had scheduled a 2 hr booking to borrow a car from this school. I was not issued a refund despite this issue being out of my control. You should call a few weeks before you plan on getting driving lessons since they've usually booked.

IDrive was recommended by a couple of friends for mine who used them for their kids. They have been helpful and easy to work with during this crazy Covid time. Paul has been a very patient and understanding instructor. The office staff are friendly and courteous. Would recommend to anyone looking for a driving school for their children.Thanks IDrive!

I called this driving school desperate for an appointment expecting to have to wait an entire month to get my driving lessons, but instead they got me an appointment the same week. Having dealt with many schools in the area, I can confidently say this school is the best around. It is obvious they care about their customers and truly want to help their students get their license as soon as possible. I made the mistake of making my DMV drive test appointment before I had scheduled my driving lessons, and they made a point of fitting me in as soon as possible. Other schools did not seem motivated to fit me in at all, but despite this school being booked for the next month they still worked hard to fit me in within the same week I called. All of my communications with this school were with Amelia, and she was extremely nice, helpful and professional. She made my experience as easy and as stress free as possible. I highly recommend I Drive Driving School to all who are in need of a driving school.

I had two lessons with iDriving School, one with Paul and one with Ameer, and both were excellent. One was a few weeks before my test, with Paul, (which gave me a chance to practise on my own, un-learn bad habits), and one was on the morning of the test, with Ameer, and I used Ameers car to drive the test. Both instructors were very clear, with specific feedback that prepares you for the actual test. When I drove the test, I received an "excellent" from the DMV tester, with only one minor mistake. (missed one shoulder check). I just moved to California from another country, been driving for years, but need to have a California License. So I'm so glad that iDriving School offers this Test Preparatatory Service. Lets you brush up, identify any bad habits you've picked up over the years, and really gets you ready, so you can do well. The California DMV is so busy, I had to wait weeks to get my test date. So you don't want to have to drive the test twice. The lessons are worth every penny.

I had taken driving lessons from another school before and compared to iDrive, iDrive was better! I took the 6 hour course. I passed my driving test no problem. Paul and Frank were great instructors! Would highly recommend!

I just recently finished my lessons with them. I had Paul and Frank. They were both very patient and calm. They were extremely kind and made sure I knew everything that a great driver needs to know. I practiced unprotected left turns until Paul knew for sure that I was comfortable doing them (which took about an hour of driving). Customer service over the phone was great! Definitely recommend this driving school!

Just enrolled my third child. They have the same receptionist from 8years ago. Amelia is so helpful, totally makes the sign up process wonderful she is so efficient! I highly recommend this driving school to all my friends and family members.

I would not recommend at all they scam you basically. I purchased a lesson a couple weeks ago and HAVEN’T heard back and never took any lessons with them. That so ridiculous a professional school and they basically scam you you guys should be shut down for good.
