Instruction Permit

To apply for a Level 1 permit, teens must:

  • Pass a vision and written knowledge test

  • Complete 50 hours of supervised driving (including 10 at night) before advancing

Intermediate License

To qualify for a Level 2 license, teens must:

Restrictions include:

  • No more than 1 non-family passenger under age 20
