Driving has always been an important part of human life since in the past, driving has always been around from carriages being pulled by horses leading to the first creation of the gas powered car. Cars gave the people freedom and independence they needed. which would allow many to drive themselves around no longer requiring the help of others. Now, cars are a big part of the modern day society where the majority of people have a car to get around in the world. It is very common to go about your day and see busy roads full of cars. Almost everyone relies on them to go to work, school, or other different places, but with all the cars and traffic comes risk and consequence to those who disobey or decide not to pay attention, possibly leading to fatal crashes with injury or worse as some end in a grim with death being the end result. This is why
driver education is so important to have with you because it helps people understand how safe it is to have and also it reduces the number of deaths and injuries caused by car accidents. The possibility of avoiding accident on the road is quite simple and could be reduced if drivers would be more educated on the road as in not using their phones while they are driving since most accidents happen due to the fact people use their phones, or they become too tired and fall asleep while driving causing them to drift off the road and cause a huge ruckus. Education will teach the driver about road rules, signs, speed limits, and maybe even include how to handle dangerous situations. Many accidents could be prevented if the driver was more aware and educated on the road. For example, Once, there was a huge accident that happened close by in the area where I live when a truck driver was drifting off to sleep. He ended up hitting a woman leading to her death. It was worse finding out she worked at my school and I knew her very well causing me to go into a depressive state. Overall, many drivers use their phones to text, call, or check their social media to catch up on anything while driving. Just by taking a few seconds to look away from the road it can lead to a serious or even deadly crash. A
driver education reminds people that every small decision that you make will matter when they are driving. If more drivers were educated about the dangers of being tired or distracted driving, I believe that many accidents could have been prevented. Any simple steps can make a big difference to the community. For example, people should avoid using their phones while driving and also by making sure to get plenty of sleep before having long trips. By following the speed limit, wearing a seat belt, and staying focused can save many lives. Some drivers may take risks like running red lights or driving too fast just to save time. What these people don't realize is that those few seconds are not worth risking their lives or other people's lives. By being a good driver it means being patient and responsible at all times because it shows that you care about yourself and also somebody else's life as well. To become a better person and also a safer driver, I plan to always follow the rules and try to make a good example to my surroundings. I want to remind my friends and family to not commit any risks and to try to focus when driving. I also believe that schools and communities should talk about driving safely and also talk about the effects it will leave after. By hearing some true stories maybe people will snap and do the right thing when driving. The world would be a better place if everyone took a moment to learn about
driver education or continue to learn. We can all do our part by staying alert on the roads and following the laws to keep everyone safe. Every little small step drivers do like putting away their phone or driving at or below the speed allow us to continue saving peoples lives. Driver education is not just a class or requirement, but it is a safety procedure that allows for us to shape ourselves and future drivers into being a better driver and save many lives every day driving with more caution on the road.
